"Oh?" Nira asked, pulling back with a smile. "And what kind of plans does my beautiful bride-to-be have in store for me, I wonder?" She ran a finger up Sapphire's arm, the hand then resting on her shoulder as she leaned in for another kiss.

"It's... it's not like that. You see, my father contacted me for the first time since I left for Haven today. He told me not to worry too much, but he's... he's coming to Beacon to talk about something tomorrow. And he said that if I had happened to find anyone... special to me, he wants to meet them." Sapphire glanced patiently into Nira's eyes, waiting for her response.

Nira's gaze hardened. "Forgive me, Sapphire, but... I'm not particularly fond of your parents as it is. I really have no desire to meet your father." Seeing Sapphire's pleading look, however, she immediately buckled. "But if that is what you desire, I shall do it... for you."

Sapphire nodded in reply. "I understand, Nira. Just... please don't think he's anything like my mother. He may not have been the best father he could have been, but..." Sapphire scowled slightly, the mere thought of her mother visibly irritating her. "My mother was unforgivably horrible. I know it's unlike me to say such things, but I can't help but hope that something dreadful has happened to her."

"I understand your feelings, Sapphire," Nira soothed. Looking at her finally-empty plate, she sighed contentedly, leaning against her soon-to-be-wife. "Ahhh... I'm full." With a sly wink, she added, "in more ways than one."

Sapphire blushed, her hair glittering elegantly as she smiled back at Nira. Suddenly remembering her manners, she turned to face her lover properly, and bowed her head politely before speaking. "Thank you for the meal, dear. I'm in your debt for such a gift, and... the repayment is yours to decide. I-in other words... ask whatever you want of me, Nira."

Sapphire's face instantly flushed bright red at Nira's teasing, and she started stammering in embarrassment. "O-of course, that sounds great. By the way... the rest of my team are away for the holidays, so we... we have my dorm all to ourselves for the night, if you want. A-and I'd be happy to let you stay with me for the whole night..."

As they exited the restaurant, Nira pressed up close to Sapphire, intertwining their fingers. "That sounds... absolutely lovely, my love," she whispered sensually, her breath ghosting over Sapphire's ear.

Sapphire nodded, attempting to disregard her very obvious blush. "I think so too, Nira. This'll be a long night, and I'll make sure you enjoy every second of it." She smirked back at Nira, visibly enjoying her teasing. "This date was marvelous, so I'll repay you with nothing less than my best, darling..."
