"Well, I'd say ten more minutes," Nira replied, putting her arm around Sapphire. "You're so gorgeous," she murmured, resting her chin on the girl's head. "I love you."

[Raltsun]

"I love you too," Sapphire murmured. "Say, we should have a short while between landing and needing to go to the restaurant, right? After we land, I'd like to find a quiet place, to tell you something in private. But for now... would it be okay for me to rest like this until we land? I'm tired now, and you're comfortable to lean against..."

[Ryuki]

"Something in private?" Nira echoed, but didn't push, instead choosing to smile and pull Sapphire a little closer. "Anything for you, my little gemstone. I'll wake you when we land..."

Ten minutes later, when they did just that, Nira shook Sapphire awake gently, kissing her forehead. "Dear, it's time to wake up..."

"Mmm..." Sapphire blinked drowsily, smiling warmly at Nira as she readjusted her posture. "Sorry for falling asleep, dear. Thank you for letting me lean on you though. It was... comfortable."

[Ryuki]

"I'm glad," said Nira lovingly, brushing the hair out of Sapphire's eyes. Leading her off the airship. "Now, you wanted to talk?"

[Raltsun]

"Yes. I... don't want other people to overhear us, so shall we find somewhere where we can be alone? I-it's about... what you did on the airship." Sapphire blushed as she thought about Nira's actions, looking away shyly.

[Ryuki]

"Did I do something wrong?" Nira asked in alarm, as they dipped into an alley. "I'm sorry, I should've known it was too much... I never meant..." She began to cry, feeling immensely guilty that she'd forced Sapphire into the act. She'd essentially raped her.

[Raltsun]

"No, please don't cry..." Sapphire gently hugged her, softly stroking her hair. "It's okay, dear. If I had ever wanted to make you stop, I would have just told you to. J-just calm down..."

[Ryuki]

"I'm sorry," whispered the taller girl, shaking like a leaf as she struggled to contain her tears. "I didn't mean to hurt you... I'll never do it again."

[Raltsun]

"But you didn't hurt me," Sapphire replied comfortingly. "I-it was a bit scary, and further out of my comfort zone than anything we've done before, but it... excited me. Please, don't cry any more. I'm not upset at you..."

[Ryuki]

Nira started, surprised by the response she had been given. Looking at Sapphire, she whispered, "A-are you sure? You're not mad?"

[Raltsun]

"I'm sure I'm not mad. I'm a bit shaken by nervousness, but..." Sapphire looked into Nira's eyes, silently comforting her with a gentle smile. "You can fix that by comforting me as usual, if you want. I'd really like that..."

[Ryuki]

Without saying a word, Nira embraced Sapphire gently, her arms wrapping around the smaller girl and her face burying itself in her hair. "How's this?" she murmured. "I've got you, Sapphire... No need to be nervous. I'm here..."

[Raltsun]

"This is wonderful," Sapphire murmured calmly. "You're so good to me, Nira. Thank you for making me feel safe again..."

[Ryuki]

"Of course, darling..." Nira trailed off, looking at her watch. Her jaw feel open. "Ohmygodwe'regoingtobelate!" she shrieked, seizing Sapphire's wrist and pulling her out of the alley in a dead sprint.

[Raltsun]

"Gah!" Sapphire yelped as Nira dragged her along, stumbling slightly before meeting her pace in their frantic dash to the restaurant. "S-sorry!"

[Ryuki]

"Not your fault, but we gotta- oh, for crying out loud!" Nira shouted, as they arrived at the restaurant, only to be stopped by a crowd out front.

[Raltsun]

Sapphire stared at the crowd in mild irritation, hiding her anger out of politeness. "Why is there a crowd like this here, now of all times?"

[Ryuki]

Pushing through the crowd, Nira managed to force herself and Sapphire's way into the restaurant, and was confronted with a full waiting room. Checking her watch, she groaned; they were fifteen minutes late for their reservation. "This... is a new restaurant. They've gotten quite popular, and our reservation was supposed to be just before the evening rush..."

[Raltsun]

"Nira, you..." Sapphire sighed, her eyes drooping in shame. "This is my fault. You spent so much time and money making sure we could have the best of the best, never complaining about all the work you had to do for me, and then... I ruined it all, because I'm too weak to even get out of bed on time. I'm sorry for treating you so badly. Please forgive me."

[Ryuki]

"No, stop that right now," Nira said sternly, as they approached the hostess. "This wasn't your fault in the least, and if they won't serve us, or at least serve you, I'll be speaking to their manager. Hello," she said pleasantly, immediately switching gears upon addressing the hostess. "My girlfriend and I are a bit late for our reservation; our sincere apologies. If you still have a table, we're under the name 'Lomenet?'"

"Hmm..." The girl checked the screen in front of her, tapping it a few times, and a polite smile spread across her face. "You're in luck, Miss Lomenet. Your table was held. Right this way, please!"

[Raltsun]

Sapphire gave Nira a short, apologetic bow, before following her to their table. "I'm sorry for my outburst, Nira. I just... felt ashamed of myself for doing so little in return for someone so perfect. I'll try to keep it under control while we're out in public..."

[Ryuki]

"You're fine, love," Nira replied, as they were seated. "Not your fault. Lucky break, though, eh? Excuse me, waiter? A bottle of your Chateau Lafite, please. And menus."

[Raltsun]

"Thank you for being so forgiving, dear. Y-you know I get a bit nervous around large crowds..." Sapphire took a deep breath, pushing her worries to the back of her mind with some help from her Semblance, and smiled warmly at Nira. "You've done so much for me, especially today. It makes me so happy..." Sapphire adjusted her seating position, moving a bit closer to Nira. "Please, could you embrace me again? We never did quite finish comforting each other back there..."

[Ryuki]

Nira nodded wordlessly, her arms once again snaking around Sapphire's waist. She waited patiently, humming softly into the other woman's ear even as the busy restaurant came alive with shouts and idle chatter as people filtered in for the busiest part of the night.
